what did Sebby do now…
This is the folio section which houses some of my works over the years. The material published in this section are only those that I have full ownership of. Work on projects from organizations I’ve worked with are not published here.
In November 2006, the Singapore Students’ Society of Manchester (SSSM) co-organised a joint party with the Malaysian Students’ Society of Manchester (MSSM) and the Manchester University Chinese Students’ Society (MUCSS) in the middle of November as a welcome party for the freshers of that year. As Web Master, I designed the tickets for the event.

This was the initial proof of concept for the ticket.

The feedback given was that a theme had been decided upon by the three societies that red would be the colour of the night, therefore I re-edited the colour to have a red gradient feel.

A final decision was made to change the design and a title was introduced – The Red Doll. This design was the final product delivered.

During my term as Web Master of the Singapore Students’ Society of Manchester, I designed and developed a mini-site for the Annual Dinner & Dance of 2006 entitled Night de Rose. The Gothic theme was selected as to coincide with the history of the venue – The Freemason’s Hall, which has its roots reaching as far back as the Medieval era of the Middle Ages.

During my first year at the University of Manchester, I was the Web Master of the Singapore Students’ Society of Manchester’s 05/06 Committee. Developed entirely in PHP, it was updated every other day to ensure up to date content for the society’s members and other viewers.
The primary colours used for the site were red and white, the symbolic colours of Singapore. Playing with these two colours, I introduced a third – orange, which blended in between the two. The result was a spread of the colour in various locations over a three column fixed span design with information on two and the main navigation on the other. In subsequent pages, the right and center column were merge to become one main content area.

The INT Studies Club is a student society for the students of the Temasek Polytechnic Information Technology School. I was tasked by the committee in my third year to design their website. The website was a one-stop website of information for students in the school updating them of the club’s events and happenings around campus. The ASP back-end was written by Kenneth Wong.
Together We Can Prevent Crime

The National Crime Prevention Council, a subsidiary of the Singapore Police Force organized a website design competion on crime prevention. This was my second competition in web design. Its content was mainly about crime prevention techniques and contained a directory of police posts contact numbers and their locations.
Entitled “Together We Can Prevent Crime”, it won first prize in the competition and can be viewed at www.bazcreate.com/ncpc.

My first web design competition entry – VTechSys, a Taiwan based company organized a competition to find a new interface for a WebOPAC system. An OPAC system is used in libraries for resource finding.
I won first prize for this project.

Sweet Concoction was a website designed for my Human Computer Interaction module in polytechnic. As the module’s name goes, the task was to create an easy to use user interface for a human being to navigate and interact about. The final test of the module was the actual video recording of an user’s facial expressions and mouse movements as he/she explored the website. The recordings were analyzed with an interview with the user.
The actual live site of Sweet Concoction can be viewed at www.bazcreate.com/SweetConcoction. Sweet Concoction received an A grade.

Scubapoint was my first website ever. It was my first touch at web designing for my Network Multimedia module in polytechnic. Under the guidance of Ms Josephine Tan, I slowly explored my potential in web design and after this entered web designing competitions.
The submitted version of Scubapoint can be found at www.bazcreate.com/scubapoint. Scubapoint received a Distinction grade.
Think of Sebby as highly intellectual although he wants to be more intellectual. To understand what this, first you must assume he's very arrogant to call himself 'highly intellectual' then you have to wonder if he has some humility to wanna be 'more intellectual' and then think is he really arrogant or humble? This is SebbyStyle.
